Abstract

The manual describes the basic methods of microscopic examination of microorganisms. It provides information about safe handling of microorganisms in the teaching laboratory, preparation of specimens, their staining and observing with the help of light microscope. The manual is compiled in accordance with the program of practical classes of the discipline "Microbiology, Virology" for students studying in English in the specialties "Medical science" and "Dentistry".
