The relevance of the studied problem is substantiated by the fact that interest in issues of spiritual and moral development and personality formation around the world increased in the second half of the 20th century: it became obvious that social problems cannot be solved without strengthening of attention to human?s moral education. The objective of the paper is theoretical understanding of historical-pedagogical material on the issue of moral education, development on its basis pedagogical conditions aimed to form senior school students? moral education, and methodical recommendations necessary for teachers-practitioners.
