dc.description.abstract	The article is devoted to the theory and techniques of the young people civic education. It also deals with the problems of students? civic consciousness and civic qualities formation. The purpose of the research was to study and diagnose civic consciousness of Technical University Students, to ground theoretically and test experimentally pedagogical conditions of students? civic consciousness formation in foreign language classes. The results of the definition and specification of the notion of ?civic education? are also introduced in the article.
