The study guide discusses the "Alpha-A High Resolution Dielectric, Conductivity and Impedance Measurement System", "Radio Frequency Extension for Electric Material Measurements" and "Quatro Cryosystem" that are required to perform the experiments from10-5Hz to 3·109Hz on the dielectric spectrometer BDS Concept80 (Novocontrol Technologies GmbH & Co. KG). The aim of this work is to describe in detail the experimental procedure on this dielectric spectrometer: preparing the system for measurement, calibration procedure, different types of sample cells, performing a measurement, safety precautions. This study guide will be useful for students, graduate students, postgraduate students as well as for the researchers in the field of the dielectric spectroscopy of complex systems |
