dc.description.abstract The article deals with the key strategies of developing critical thinking in primary school English lessons. The research shows that among a variety of tools and strategies the most efficient ones are animated cartoons, which includes problem-solving scenarios, Socratic questioning, mind mapping, logic puzzles and riddles, decision-making activities, predicting outcomes, research projects. en_US
