POSSIBLE WAYS TO DEVELOP SUSTAINABLE FINANCING IN THE CIS COUNTRIES

Abstract

The development of the "green" economy in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States is proceeding at a fairly rapid pace, while both the financing instruments themselves and the principles for implementing this transition are developing. This paper examines the current state of the elements of "sustainable" financing, as well as their future prospects. Special attention is paid to the role of financial supervisory authorities in this process. Thus, the causes and ways of central banks' influence on the transition to a "green" economy, international experience in this direction, as well as the possible negative consequences of this activity are highlighted.
