Abstract

Данная статья посвящена рассмотрению различных подходов к определению сленга, основных характерных особенностей его трансформации, выразитель- ной функциональности, выявлению степени и широты его использования, путей и механизмов его проникновения в речь, а также транслированию определённых посылов в современном английским языке.

This article is dedicated to the consideration of various approaches to the definition of slang, the main characteristic features of its transformation, expressive functionality, identifying the degree and breadth of its use, ways and mechanisms of its penetration into speech, as well as the transmission of certain messages in modern English.
