Preventive examinations revealed women with recurrent herpetic stomatitis (RHS), suffering from arterial hypertension (AH). Objective. To assess the prophylaxis of immunomodulator in women with RHS aggravated by AH. Material and methods. The immunomodulator prophylaxis was carried out in 98 patients with RHS and AH aged from 28 to 45 years. Before and after prophylaxis with an antiviral agent, the patients’ immune status was assessed. The indices of local immunity of the oral cavity (SIgA), cellular (blast transformation reaction with phytohemagglutinin), humoral immunity (IgA, IgG, IgM) and C3 complement component were determined. Results. Analysis of the prophylaxis results with an immunomodulator in patients with RHS and AH revealed an increase in the im-munological parameters of local immunity, i.e. approximation of their values to the values of indicators in healthy women. In the link of humoral immunity, the indicators of IgA, IgG, IgM significantly (p<0.001) increased. The levels of cellular immunity significantly (p<0.001) increased, also approaching those in the group of healthy women Conclusion. The results obtained proved the clinical efficacy of the immunomodulator showing an increase in the terms of remis-sion (p<0.001) of stomatitis in women with AH.
