© 2020, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. Abstract: The paper is devoted to study of the parametric resonance oftorsional vibrations caused by large-amplitude flexural vibrationsof cantilevered plates. In this study we considered the first tworesonant modes of flexural vibrations. The analytical study of theoriginal problem which is reduced to Hill equation, is based onthe WKB approximation. According to the obtained results, we builta map of instability gaps in the plane of the two process controlparameters. The conclusions are made about the possibility ofexperimentally detection the studied effect in real systems.
