This study allowed us establishing some of the trends associated with the above infectious pathologies in the Russian Federation for 2013-2017. There is a decrease in the incidence of acute viral hepatitis B among the general population by 1.54 times and acute viral hepatitis C by 1.2 times. A 2-fold decrease in the incidence of acute hepatitis B among children and adolescents of 0–17 years old has been established, and an acute hepatitis C disease has decreased in 1.6 times over the study period in the above-mentioned cohort. Vaccination of the population against viral hepatitis B over the years analyzed remains at a stable level both among the general population (2013-4.1 million people; 2017-3.27 million people) and in the cohort of 0-17 years old (2013-1.7 million people; 2017-1.77 million people). The work carried out established that the carrier rate of the hepatitis B among the entire population decreased by 1.2 times for 2013–2017 (2013-11.69 per 100 thousand of the population; 2017-9.6 per 100 thousand of the population). The incidence of chronic viral hepatitis B decreased 1.6 times for the analyzed period (2013-16.24 per 100 thousand of the population; 2017-10.13 per 100 thousand of the population), and chronic viral hepatitis C-1.13 times (2013-39.21 per 100 thousand of the population; 2017-34.6 per 100 thousand of the population).10.31838/ijpr/2020.12.01.153.
