A lot of phytopathogenic organisms are associated with the flora of the city’s artificial greenery, forming stable food chains with their host plants. This requires constant phytosanitary monitoring of urban landscaping zones. The method of route biological research was used to detect plant damage caused by diseases. The material was collected three times during the growing season: at the end of the first decade of each summer month in 2017 and 2018. The intensity of plant affection and the prevalence of diseases were estimated for three observation periods. The assessment of the intensity of diseases was used to establish possible correlation relationship for the same disease and for the same plants in different landscaping areas. Pearson correlation coefficient was calculated, and the intensity of correlation relationship was estimated. Here, we found 33 plant diseases, two of which were non-infectious and 31 were infectious. All infectious diseases were caused by fungi, belonging to different systematic groups. The greatest number of plant diseases was found in Gorky Central Park of Culture and Leisure. Among tree species of urban greenery, the most affected by pathogens were the following ones: QuercusroburL., MalusdomesticaBorkh., SorbusaucupariaL. andTiliacоrdataMill; among shrub species, BerberisvulgarisL. and SyringavulgarisL.
