Thetooth-shaped radiator is obtained from a rectangular radiator byadding small symmetrical rectangular cutouts on its two sides. Theantennas with four-, six- and eight-tooth-shaped radiators areconsidered. For the antennas, the influence of the radiatorgeometry parameters on the two base resonance frequencies isstudied. The common features and characteristics of thedependences of the resonances on the radiator parameters arerevealed for the considered tooth-shaped antennas. Regressionmodels are constructed for each type of the antenna. In theobtained models, the values of the two base resonances arefunctions of the length and width of the radiator as well as ofthe depth of rectangular cutouts on it. The designing of dual-bandprinted monopole tooth-shaped antennas for various numbers ofcutouts on the radiator is proposed. For the design of the shapeof the radiator antennas, regression models are used, which allowto obtain the parameters of the radiator for given resonancefrequencies. Examples of obtained antennas with various numbers ofteeth are given. Conclusions about the applicability of antennasof this type for operation on two bands are given.
