Boiling in a low-boiling dispersed phase and the interaction of droplets with a continuous medium are accompanied by an ambiguous change in the hydrodynamic parameters of the liquid emulsion flow. The turbulent mode of motion of a continuous medium intensifies heat transfer and the formation of a vapor phase in superheated dispersed drops. The interaction of deformable vapor-liquid aggregates with turbulent velocity pulsations destabilizes the dispersed phase, and also complicates the heat transfer and hydrodynamic behavior of the emulsion. Modeling convective heat transfer in an emulsion with an active dispersed phase requires special consideration.
