On the basis of a discrete layered model of a multilayer plate at small displacements and deformations with account of the internal damping of layers according to the Kelvin-Voight model, the problems of the transmission of a monoharmonic sound wave through a thin plate with various types of damping coatings have been considered. It is assumed that the plate is located between two semi-infinite spaces and a plane sound wave with a given amplitude value of sound wave pressure falls on it. Behavior of the acoustic media in spaces between the deformable plate and the barriers is described by the classical wave equations based on the model of an ideal compressible fluid. Exact analytical solutions of the formulated problems are constructed. On the basis of these solutions, a study of the sound transmission loss and parameters of the stress-strain state of plates with free, constraining and integrated layer damping has been carried out.
