Abstract:
© 2019, Springer Nature Switzerland AG. The article is devoted to the study of anticipatory (prognostic) skills in adolescents with limited possibilities of health. The paper presents a theoretical review of domestic and foreign studies of the anticipation phenomenon. The study involved participants aged 13–15 with severe speech disorders and cerebral palsy with safe intellect – students of Kazan educational institutions. The methods used in the study: observation, conversation, method of testing (“prognostic ability” methodology by L.A. Regush), mathematical methods of data processing. Within the factor model of structure of the ability to predict (L.A. Regush), it was detected that such qualities of thinking as analyticality, perspectivity, awareness, flexibility, and argumentativeness are particularly evident in adolescents. Their combination and manifestation allowed to detect differences in the ability to predict (anticipation) in adolescents with severe speech disorders and infantile cerebral palsy.
