Based on the collected and processed array of information and statistical data, the authors present in their work the main parameters characterizing the level of demand for blockchain technology in the Russian Federation at the present stage of development. A key aspect of the study is the developed algorithm for determining the integral value of the demand for blockchain technologies in the national economic system. Based on the methods of mathematical and statistical analysis, this allows formalizing and transforming a large array of qualitative data into a single scale for the measurement of the process under study-the level of demand for blockchain technology in the socio-economic environment. When studying the key trends of “blockchainization” of the Russian economy, a high level of activization of business entities was established in terms of using distributed data storage technologies as part of the implementation of operational processes. The main features of the response of public authorities to the process of active diffusion of the studied technologies into the economy are identified. Also, the features of the publication activity of Russian scientists in the direction of research are revealed. The final stage of the study was to determine the integral value of the blockchain technologies development in the national economic system. According to the results of the estimates realized, the quarterly dynamics of demand for them in the Russian economy for the period from 2015 to 2018 was determined. The obtained estimates can serve as the basis for the development of prognostic estimates of the development of the investigated market.
