A new rich Upper Permian locality of plants, ostracodes, bivalves, fishes, and tetrapods was founded in the middle part of the Komaritsa Member of the Salarevo Formation on the Malaya Northern Dvina River. The new locality is confined to the lower part of the terminal Permian Gnathorhiza otschevi–Mutovinia sennikovi Fish Zone. Based on new materials of the actinopterygian fishes from this locality, the genus Isadia is revised, diagnoses of the species included in it are improved, and a new species, Isadia arefievi sp. nov. is described.
