On the relation between bourgeois consciousness and humanism

Abstract

This article is concerned with the relation of humanism and bourgeois consciousness. The issue is addressed by the author from the perspective of the interpretation of humanism through the prism of bourgeois consciousness development logic. It is revealed that these value systems are closely interrelated within their common European culture. It is concluded that under the single-tier secular organization of the world the relationship of these value systems excludes the presence of a fundamental contradiction between them.
