Notional regulation of mental states

Abstract

mental state, notional structures of consciousness, meaning, emotional experience, model, regulation, situation, mode of living, field of culture The model of mental states' notional regulation is presented. Notional structures of consciousness (personal sense, values, notional dispositions etc.) as well as meaning, emotional experience and attitudes are die components of the model. It is shown that the influence of notional structures of consciousness on mental states is mediated by situations of subject's activity, mode of living and, as a whole, by the field of culture. Relationships between the comDonents of the model are discussed.
