Abstract:
The crystal and molecular structure of the palladium complex of N-diisopropoxythiophosphorylthiobenzamide [C6H5C(S)NP(S)(OC3H7-iso) 2]2Pd was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The complex is centrosymmetric, with square-planar coordination of Pd. Palladium coordinates four sulfur atoms of the C=S and P=S groups of the two ligand molecules. The C-S and P-S bond lengths in the complex are characteristic of single bonds.
