Action and momentum functionals in phase spaces of physical systems

Abstract

In the present paper, it is demonstrated that nonlinear evolutionary equations can be derived by variations of the functionals directly induced by the phase space geometry of a physical system. © 2000 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
