Abstract

Consideration is given to the question of how the displacement of the 4S shells of the Fe3+ ion with respect to the nucleus accompanying the temperature oscillations of atoms in a crystal affects the temperature dependence of the isomeric shift of the Mossbauer spectrum. © 1978 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
