1. Oxides of cis- and trans-dicyanobicycloheptenes and cis- and trans-dicyanobicyclooctenes were synthesized and their structure determined. 2. The anisotropy of the polarizability of the cyano-groups in 1, 2 -disubstituted derivatives depends on their mutual orientation. © 1969 Consultants Bureau.
