dc.description.abstract This article explores the impact of new information technologies on teaching English as a second language. With the rapid advancement of digital tools and platforms, educators now have a plethora of resources to enhance language learning experiences. The integration of online learning platforms, virtual reality, augmented reality, gamification, and artificial intelligence has revolutionized the traditional methods of teaching English. These technologies offer interactive and immersive learning experiences, personalized feedback, and engaging activities that cater to diverse learning styles. While these advancements bring numerous benefits, such as increased accessibility, interactivity, and personalization, they also pose challenges related to privacy, digital literacy, and equity in access. By striking a balance between using technologies for educational purposes and preserving the essence of traditional teaching methods, educators can create dynamic and inclusive learning environments that enable students to develop their English language skills effectively in the digital age. en_US
