dc.description.abstract	Mit "Porosität" benannten Walter Benjamin und Asja Lacis einst Neapels Eigenschaften: Räume gehen ineinander über, bieten Spielräume für Unvorhergesehenes, Improvisation ist Alltag. Heute wird der Begriff Porosität mit Bezug auf diesen Kontext zunehmend konzeptionell verwendet. Renommierte Autoren aus Architektur, Stadtplanung und Landschaftsarchitektur begeben sich auf die Suche nach neuen Konzepten für eine lebenswerte, menschenfreundliche Stadt - im Zeichen dieses schillernden Begriffs. Er dreht sich um die Überlagerung und Mischung von Räumen und Strukturen, um städtische Texturen und ihre architektonischen Eigenschaften und Qualitäten: um die Stadt der radikalen Durchmischung.
