Конфликты горожан с королём Генрихом VI

Abstract

В данной статье раскрывается тема конфликтного взаимодействия жителей английских городов и их короля - Генриха VI. Для проведения исследования был поставлены главные вопросы - были ли конфликты между горожанами и королём в Англии XV века, по какой причине они происходили и как разрешались. По мере написания работы было выявлено, что во время правления последнего представителя династии Ланкастеров городские жители не имели конфликты с королевской персоной. Напротив, как одна сторона, так и другая понимали взаимную выгоду мирного взаимодействия и пользовались услугами друг друга: король получал денежные суммы в свою казну, города подтверждали свои старые привилегии и получали новые.

This article reveals the topic of conflict between the inhabitants of English towns and their king - Henry the VIth. The main questions were posed in order to conduct the study - whether there were conflicts between the townspeople and the king in England of the 15th century at all, what were the reasons of their occurrence and how they were resolved. In the process of writing this work it was revealed that during the reign of the last representative of the Lancaster dynasty, urban residents did not have conflicts with the royal person. On the contrary, both sides were able to understand the mutual benefits of peaceful interaction and used each other's services: the king received sums of money in his treasury, the cities confirmed their old privileges and received new ones.
