dc.description.abstract | © 2020, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature. This work is dedicated to the creation and comparison of the simplified model of a neuron for the real-time processing in embedded bio-compatible devices. We propose bio-compatible model of a neuron inspired by works of Izhikevich (IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks 4(6): 1569–1572, 2003) and Rozenblatt (Psychological Review 65(6): 386, 1958) and present the block diagram and main principles of signals processing and learning in this work. We validate simplified model of the neuron using other close to proposed models of leaky integrate and fire (LIF) and Izhikevich (IZH). The proposed model indicated better performance though still being bio-compatible from the temporal parameters perspective more than IZH and LIF models. | |
