IMPACT OF REGIONAL REFORMS ON RURAL POPULATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES CASES STUDY: THE REPUBLIC OF TATARSTAN

© 2020. All Rights Reserved. This article studies the issues of development and location of rural population from the middle of the XX century till today. The research is determined to revealing the current topics of social, economic and demographic development of the rural population of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as analyzing the environmental and ecosystem consequences of this transformation. The value of regional reforms which significantly influenced the change of the rural population considering the basic tendencies of world economic globalization is analyzed. This all actualizes the research aimed at study and analysis of reasons for the decrease in the rural community and its adverse environmental consequences. The analysis and consideration on the level of a particular subject allowed revealing the regional special features and developing recommended practices for transfer to stable local development. Therefore, the specific results were obtained, and the recommended practices which should be implemented in the nearest future were offered as a result of the research. Current tendencies of development of rural population were determined in this work. The work is based on the analysis of statistical data, All-Union and All-Russian population censuses of years 1959, 1970, 1979, 1989, 2002 and 2010. The role of the State Program, “Development of Agriculture and Regulation of Markets of Agricultural Products, Raw Materials and Food for Years 2013-2020” and the range of other programs of support of agriculture, are considered in work. The article ends with a short conclusion regarding the problems of rural populations and its environmental considerations during the period of current reforms and the strategic tasks required for the improvement of the situation in rural regions were revealed. The data of the Federal Service – Territorial Department of the Federal State Statistics Service in and for the Republic of Tatarstan and the statistical data of funds of the State Archive of the Republic of Tatarstan was used in work.
