dc.description.abstract © 2020, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. Abstract: The current paper clarifies the connection between the generalizedcomplex-frequency eigenvalue problem and the eigenvalue problemfor the Muller boundary integral equations. It is proved thatthese problems are spectrally equivalent if a specially tailoredeigenvalue problem does not have any solution.
