© 2020 Elsevier B.V. A correlation is demonstrated between the diffuseness of the self-consistent nucleon distribution and the nucleon-nucleon attraction on nuclear surface. The last two values determine the nucleus-nucleus interaction potential. Because the half-lives of alpha-decay, cluster radioactivity, and spontaneous fission are sensitive to the nucleus-nucleus interaction potential, we try to verify the self-consistent nucleon-nucleon attraction on nuclear surface. Based on the dinuclear system model, the unified approach is proposed for calculating half-lives of different nuclear decay modes using the phenomenological and self-consistent nucleon distributions. |
