Fifteen species and six genera of fossil actinopterygians from the Permian of European Russia have been described in papers that cannot be regarded as publications according to the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature. To avoid further confusion, we provide for these taxa updated synonymy lists with corrected publication dates and diagnoses translated into English. All taxon names in question retain validity and original authorship.
