dc.description.abstract | © 2020 Trans Tech Publications Ltd, Switzerland. Study of influence the edge and surface preparation and use of various types of coatings on the shaving cutters from the high-speed steel DIN 1.3243 (W6Mo5Cr4V2Co5-China), with a hardness of 62-64HRc, for processing of the driven gear part, made of steel DIN 1.6523 (20CrNiMoH-China) with a hardness of 156-207 HB is presented. For the analysis, coatings based on titanium nitride (TiN) and a multicomponent coating of titanium and aluminum (AlTiN) were used. The coating on the basis of titanium nitride (TiN) increased the tool life 1.4 times. Multicomponent coating of titanium and aluminum (AlTiN) increased the tool life 1.6 times (AlTiN). | |
