P. M. Bicilli's textbook on world history in the context of the development of the cultural and historical area of focus of the russian historical school in the 1920s

Bicilli, published in Serbian in 1923, which broadcast the best achievements of the cultural and historical direction of the "Russian historical school" in Europe. Familiarity with the content of the textbook by P. Bicilli allows you to adjust the existing ideas about the state of development of the "Russian historical school" on universal history in the 1920s-one of the most tragic and critical periods of its existence. It is established that didactic experience of P. Bicilli far ahead of the first Soviet textbooks on General history for universities, published in the 1930s. Conceptually, the textbook of p. Bicilli anticipated the latest synthetic approaches to the description of cultural phenomena that have developed in the world scientific and educational literature of the XXI century. The article States That the textbook of p. Bicilli is not only of historiographical interest for the academic community, but also for the modern professional education of historians and culturologists. Peter Bicilli's forgotten textbook complements our knowledge of the enormous potential of the cultural and historical direction of the Russian historical school of universal history, which allowed him not only to develop, but to reach the forefront of world science, overcoming the incredible difficulties of ideological pressure in the USSR and emigrant isolation in the European humanitarian space.
