dc.description.abstract © 2020 Elsevier B.V. A new effective method for the synthesis of quaternary phosphonium salts has been elaborated. Quaternary phosphonium salts have been obtained on the basis of reactions of tertiary phosphines of different structure with substituted cinnamic acids. The structure and composition of the synthesized compounds have been proved by IR, NMR 1H, 31P and 13C spectroscopy, elemental analysis.
