ИДЕОГРАФИЧЕСКАЯ КЛАССИФИКАЦИЯ АНГЛИЙСКИХ ИДИОМ СЕМАНТИЧЕСКОГО ПОЛЯ "ЭТНИЧЕСКИЕ НОМИНАЦИИ"

Abstract

Статья посвящена исследованию английского семантического поля "этнические номинации" с целью раскрытия семантических свойств идиом на материале данных Британского Национального Корпуса. Методами исследования послужили корпусный и семантический анализ. В статье предложен анализ идиом в качестве возможного источника информации о фрагменте языковой картины мира, связанного с концептами "инородец" и "иноплеменный мир".

The article is devoted to the study of the English semantic field "ethnic nominations" with the aim of revealing the semantic properties of idioms based on the material from the British National Corpus. The research methods were corpus and semantic analysis. The article proposes the analysis of idioms as a possible source of information about a fragment of the linguistic worldview associated with the concepts of "foreigner" and "foreign world"
