dc.description.abstract	Abstract. In this paper the decrease of humus substances content in urban and suburban soils is considered as a function of man-made impact intercity. Territories within the city of NaberezhnyeChelny (adjacent to motorway and industrial complex, and located in the city center) were selected for studying. Determination of humus substances content was performed according to the Nikitin technique with colorimetric determination according to Orlov-Grindel. The research results confirm existence of the dependence said above for reduction of humus content in soils suffered from man-made impact.
