dc.description.abstract	The article presents the experience of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of preservation of cultural heritage sites, and their inclusion in UNESCO World Heritage List. The Republic has gained a positive experience of long-term cooperation with international organizations, including UNESKO, in the field of preservation of cultural heritage. The authors provide a description of the process and stages of inclusion of three archaeological and historical architectural complexes in the World Heritage List, namely the Kazan Kremlin, Bolgar Settlement, and Assumption Cathedral and monastery of the Island Town of Sviyazhsk.
