dc.description.abstract This paper focuses on the need and implications of multicultural education in the context of preparing and grooming of future teachers. The importance of teachers' perceptions of multicultural education in a multilingual classroom need for multicultural pedagogy and curriculum are elaborated in this paper. The finding indicates that a balanced and liberal approach of a teacher towards various cultures and languages inside and outside the classroom is very important for the growth and development of a multicultural society. en_US
