dc.description.abstract | © 2019, Springer Nature Switzerland AG. Digital Era and the growing competition require higher education graduates have skills relevant for competing under conditions of rapid technology development and economical growth. The system of engineering education should ensure the quality of engineers that are needed for the business and society. For these purposes, there are new opportunities, which envisages the use of virtual reality, simulations and other IT. The requirements for the automotive industry have risen dramatically in recent years: cheap vehicles, a wider range of models and higher quality are needed to reach the global market. The intelligent functions of the vehicles’ on-board systems are expanded through driver assistance systems and IT integration with various devices. The peculiarity of the proposed method is to use in the educational system such digital environment, that is implemented in industry. We suggest using Blended learning, which can become one of key solutions to existing problems in an educational sphere. Interaction with business will allow educators to learn new technologies and apply them in teaching students. This is especially important in transition to Digital Era. | |
