A method of moments for modeling evaporation of a polydisperse aerosol, taking into account the disappearance of particles for particle area and volume distributions, is developed. Curves of the time dependence of moments obtained in the framework of the method of moments with correction for accounting the disappearance of particles and the nodal method are compared. It is shown that the modified method of moments satisfactorily describes the time of complete disappearance of particles and the dynamics of the volume fraction and surface area of the ensemble of particles. | |
