dc.description.abstract © 2018 IEEE. Article presents a model for realization of glow discharge at pressure below 4 Pa due to organization of supersonic gas flow in limited region of electrode gap. A model of flow regime of a supersonic flow in a vacuum chamber is described. Results of experiments on realization of a glow discharge at pressure below 4 Pa due to organization of a transverse supersonic gas flow are shown.
