dc.description.abstract	Article considers issues of softscaping as a factor of provision of urban amenities when creating sports complexes and its influence on aesthetic and artistic value of created landscape compositions. Features of sports complex of a large city softscaping are revealed. A selection of plants for landscape compositions is conducted. Possibility of expanding the range of means of expression by the use of traditional national patterns in the structure plane plant compositions.
