All rights reserved.In the article the communicative space is considered within a system of key concepts and such categories of linguistic pragmatics as the addresser, the addressee, the speech behavior, the communicative strategy. The sphere of communicative space of theater, significant for process of speech interaction of the addresser and the addressee is allocated. The role of metatext inserts in text space of the play as one of instruments of formation of communicative space is defined.
