dc.description.abstract | © 2016 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.The membrane-transport properties have been studied. It was found that bis(dihexylphosphorylmethyl)- 1,4-diaminebutane is a good extractant for triply charged metal ions such as Sc(III), Nd(III), and Sm(III). However, it does not exhibit any noticeable selectivity with respect to certain substrates. Bis(dihexylphosphorylmethyl)-1,4-diaminebutane is a good carrier of nitric acid.We have recorded the crystal structure of the complex of the reagent mentioned with the nitric acid. | |
