dc.description.abstract | © 2016, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.The decay of a discontinuity in a two-component homogeneous gas mixture and the dispersion of a gas–particle mixture with a two-component carrier medium are numerically simulated. The mathematical model of the dynamics of heterogeneous media takes into account the interphase force interaction and interphase heat exchange. Experimental results known from the literature are compared with numerical results describing the dispersion of a gas–particle mixture in a shock tube. | |
