dc.description.abstract The article discusses the concept of "corporate social responsibility" (CSR) and justification of social responsible business conduct in the framework of sustainable development. At the present time the questions of the role of corporate social responsibility in development of regional and local communities become especially important. The article analyses the questions connected with Russian practice of socially oriented behavior of corporations in regions. The authors developed the model of interaction of the authorities, business and society in the region that allows to harmonize perspective development plans of corporations with concept of social-economic development of the region.
