dc.description.abstract	This article analyzes a complex of erosion processes at the slopes of river basins in an extensive region of Russia-the eastern part of the Russian Plain (area of about 150 000 km<sup>2</sup>). This region with forest and forest-steppe landscape has large number of arable lands. We are analyzing processes of soil and gully erosion in this region. The river basin is taken as an area unit (more than 3000 m). Indicators were implemented in order to perform integrated estimation of basin erosion. The general method used for spatial analysis is a geoinformational mapping method. © IDOSI Publications, 2014.
