Formation of the system of indicators to assess the impact of energy efficiency on the innovative development of the enterprise

Abstract

© Research India Publications. Increased competitive pressure from foreign companies predetermines the need for urgent measures to improve the competitiveness of Russian enterprises. Shift of their activities to the innovative way of development is seen as an important solution to this problem. With the continued backwardness of Russia from Western countries by the degree of efficiency of use of energy resources, the increase in energy efficiency stands as one of the priorities of the innovative development of the Russian economy. Therefore, the solution to this problem in recent years has received special attention at all levels of economic management. Despite the fairly large variety of suggested approaches aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the enterprise based on its innovative development, the implementation of each of them is related to the investment costs in the hope of getting certain results in the future. This raises the problem of evaluating and selecting the most preferred options from the entire spectrum of potential alternatives. The article reviews the methodical bases of formation of the system of indicators to assess the impact of energy efficiency on the innovative development of the enterprise that allow to evaluate the expected results from the implementation of innovations in the field of energy saving, as well as to better support grounded managerial decisions that determine the innovative development of enterprises.
