A pronounced antianemic effect of water-soluble Na,Ca,Fe-polygalacturonate is demonstrated. The drug in solution is more effective than in the solid form; it promotes absorption of nutrient calcium and iron. During this treatment, consumed calcium does not impair iron absorption. © 2010 Springer Science+Business Media, Inc. |
