dc.description.abstract	The NMR data on binary solutions of CO2 in liquid n-heptane are reported. The line broadenings for various nuclei observed at certain temperatures are explained by a transition of the solution from the homogeneous to a heterogeneous state preceding stratification. The NMR data are used to estimate some characteristics of solutions near layer separation temperatures. The phase diagram of the system in the vicinity of the liquid-liquid equilibrium curve was studied.
